Ladson is a neighborhood in Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester counties of South Carolina with a population of 15,550. It was named in honor of the Ladson family, one of the oldest planter and merchant families in the Charleston area. One of its members was lieutenant governor James Ladson.

Wannamaker North Trail – The Wannamaker North Trail is a 13-mile trail designed for and open to mountain bicyclists of all experience levels. The trail is also open to hikers, walkers, and runners.
